After months with no live shows; the long awaited return of Staind is the reward that fans in Dubuque, IA received! The show took place at the Backwaters Stage at the Q-Casino. A very nice outdoor venue that rests on the banks of the Mississippi River where Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin meet.

Bursting at the seams with excitement and energy, the crowd went crazy as Staind hit the stage playing “Eyes Wide Open”. The time off didn’t dull this band! With Mike Mushok and Johnny April crisscrossing the stage, engaging the crowd. Sal Giacarelli keeping perfect time through every beat of every song. Aaron Lewis’ vocals were as stong as ever as he belted out hit after hit, like “It’s Been Awhile”, “Outside”, “Something To Remind You”, “Right Here”, etc.

Hearing the crowd singing along with every word of every song is a true testament to how incredible of a band Staind is. As a result, very few left the show with any energy left and likely very little voice left to speak. Moreover, to say that Staind has stood the test of time and remains one of the great live bands around is an understatement. Has the pandemic left you wanting to return to live show?
