Blues guitarist Mike Zito and his band rolled through town to play the Historic Lobo Theater over the weekend. Zito stepped on stage to an eager crowd who danced through the aisles throughout the majority of the evening as the band played a mixture of both classic hits and songs off of his soon to be released double live CD set, Blues for the Southside. The night also featured a special guest appearance from a local friend of Zito’s on harmonica for two numbers. While the band may no longer be on tour at the moment, you can pick up your copy of Blues for the Southside on February 18th.
