Raleigh, NC – Friday, January 16, 2026

The Ritz in Raleigh was sold out on Thursday night as Nothing More played their second stop of the CARNAL NATURE WORLD TOUR, a 37-date run across the U.S. and Canada through mid-March. With both the Raleigh and Charlotte shows selling out quickly, the venue was very full early into the evening which reflected the band’s growing popularity. Supported by Catch Your BreathArchers, and Doobie, the lineup delivered a night full of hard rock. Catch Your Breath, an Austin-based alternative/metalcore group, brought melodic heaviness and crowd-driven energy. Archers leaned into precise, riff-heavy metalcore set with tight, punchy rhythms. Doobie opened the night with a direct, high-energy mix of rock and hip-hop influences. Together, the lineup offered a diverse showcase of modern rock sounds ahead of Nothing More’s headlining set.

Doobie Sets the Tone

Doobie, also known as Eric Williams, hails from Columbus, Ohio and has been making waves in the music scene as an underground rap artist. Recently, he made the switch to the rock genre with his 2025 debut album Give ‘Em Hell Until You Get to Heaven via ONErpm. He opened the night with a nine-song set, kicking things off with the powerful rock hit “Until I Get to Heaven”, followed by “Worth a Shot” and “Krazy MF.” Doobie followed that with a recent track “Stone Cold,” which features vocals from Nothing More’s Jonny Hawkins. While Jonny did not join him on stage, the crowd was pleased to hear the collab track live. Doobie then went into a classic track “Hate Song,” a slower track that changed the vibe. Doobie mentioned it’s “not a love song, but it has that feel.” He then played a Danzig cover of “Mother,” which the crowd sang along to word for word, and closed with “Beauty in the Boogieman.” Doobie delivered a strong, confident opening performance that set the tone for the heavier acts to follow.

Archers Bring the Heavy

Archers followed Doobie and leaned fully into their heavier sound. The Madison, Wisconsin-based band emerged in 2015, founded by guitarist Ben Koehler and vocalist Nathanael Pulley, and has built a reputation for its metalcore sound. They delivered an eight-song set, three of which came from their 2024 metal EP Drag Me Out. The band opened with “Made for Love”, played an unreleased track “The Dirt” mid-set, and closed with their 2024 single “Perfect Strangers.” The performance was tight, built around thick guitar riffs, well-timed breakdowns, and strong melodic hooks. Songs like “Bitter”“Say This Sober” and “Never Enough” sparked notable excitement from the crowd. With precise timing and consistent energy, Archers kept the momentum moving forward, leaving the crowd ready for Catch Your Breath and Nothing More.

Catch Your Breath Turned Up the Energy

Catch Your Breath really turned up the energy of the evening with their set. The volume and guitars were noticeably louder as their set started, and the crowd responded enthusiastically. The Austin, Texas-based alternative/metalcore group opened with “Savages”, followed by “Dark”, then the un-released track “Lost”“21 Gun Salute”“Dial Tone”, and blazed through a full 10-song set, eight of which were tracks from their 2023 album Shame On Me, via Thriller Records. Frontman Josh Mowery led the performance, with Teddy Herrera on guitar, Cianan Madign on bass, and Onell Hernandez on drums, keeping the band tight and on rhythm throughout the set. Catch Your Breath delivered a powerful performance that left a strong impression on the audience.

Nothing More Delivers a Memorable Headline Set

Nothing More took the stage in Raleigh with confidence, showing no signs of easing into the tour despite it being only the second night of the run. The San Antonio, Texas-born hard rock quartet consists of original members Jonny Hawkins, lead singer and former drummer, and Mark Vollelunga on guitars and backing vocals, along with Daniel Oliver on bass and backing vocals as well as Ben Anderson on drums and percussion. The band builds unapologetically massive anthems from catchy hooks, blending alternative metal with progressive and electronic elements.

Nothing More started strong, opening with “HOUSE ON SAND”, before moving quickly into “ANGEL SONG”, and “IF IT DOESN’T HURT”, three songs off CARNAL their 2024 hard rock album, establishing an upbeat pace that carried throughout the set. Familiar hits like their GRAMMY nominated song “Go to War” and “Jenny” (Nothing More’s top streamed song on Spotify) drew some of the night’s strongest crowd reactions. Midway through the performance, Hawkins invited the crowd to choose between “SPIRITS” and “Mr. MTV,” with Raleigh clearly cheering louder for “SPIRITS,” which the band delivered on the spot. A brief instrumental section featuring drums, guitar, and bass solos gave the band space to showcase their musicianship without disrupting the flow of the set. Other tracks from the set included “STUCK,” “Fade In / Fade Out” and “Ocean Floor.” The performance closed with “This Is the Time (Ballast)”, bringing the room together one final time.

The North American leg of the CARNAL NATURE WORLD TOUR will continue through February and March, with Nothing More wrapping up on March 17, 2026, at Ozark Music Hall in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The show served as a solid reminder of why Nothing More continue to stand out as one of the most consistent live bands in modern rock.
