Raleigh, NC – Saturday, October 18, 2025
Red Hat Amphitheater came alive on the warm, fall evening of Saturday night as Seether and Daughtry rolled through town on their co-headlining Fall 2025 U.S. Tour, a 24-city run set to wrap up on November 15th. With support from P.O.D. and rising LA rocker Kami Kehoe, the lineup delivered a full night of rock music that hit every corner of the genre.

Kami Kehoe Kicks Things Off

LA-based singer and drummer Kami Kehoe opened the night with undeniable energy. Her powerful vocals and fierce drumming immediately turned heads as she blended alternative rock with pop intensity. As the first artist of the night, Kami and her band warmed the crowd up with an impressive 7-song set. Kami opened with “Something in the Water” before moving into one of their bigger hits “DOPAMINE” and finally closing out with “SLEEP WHEN IM DEAD.”

P.O.D. Keeps the Energy High

P.O.D. took the stage with the kind of energy that only comes from a band that’s been doing it, and doing it well for over three decades. The San Diego crew, fronted by Sonny Sandoval, tore into their opening song “Boom” and instantly had the crowd moving. Their sound is a unique blend of hard rock, punk, reggae, and rap that helped define the early 2000s nu-metal wave but still feels fresh live.

Throughout the set, Sandoval’s positivity and stage presence stood front and center, backed by Marcos Curiel’s sharp guitar riffs and Wuv Bernardo’s steady, groove-heavy drumming. The band’s message has always mixed faith, resilience, and unity, and that spirit came through in songs like “Youth of the Nation” and “Satellite.” By the time they closed with “Alive,” the whole amphitheater was singing along a reminder that P.O.D.’s mix of heavy sound and hopeful lyrics still connects across generations of rock fans.

Daughtry Brings the Emotion and Hooks

Chris Daughtry, the North Carolina native who first gained national attention on American Idol, took the stage next with his band Daughtry, delivering a powerful set that reminded fans why they’ve remained a staple of modern rock radio.

Opening with new tracks “Divided” and “The Day I Die,” Daughtry set a dramatic tone early before driving through “The Bottom” and their huge crowd-pleaser cover of Journey’s “Separate Ways (Worlds Apart).” Mid-set highlights like “Pieces,” “Antidote,” and “The Dam” showcased the band’s range, while hits like “It’s Not Over” and “Home” turned the crowd into a full sing-a-long.

Backed by Brian Craddock, Elvio Fernandes, Marty O’Brien, and Anthony Ghazel, Daughtry’s live chemistry was as tight as ever. After wrapping the main set with “Heavy Is the Crown,” the band returned for a one-song encore “Artificial” closing their performance on a dark, cinematic note that left the crowd buzzing.

Seether Closes the Night with Career-Spanning Set

Headlining the night, Seether delivered a career-spanning set that reminded everyone why they’ve stayed one of the most consistent forces in modern rock. Formed in Pretoria, South Africa, the band — Shaun Morgan, Dale Stewart, John Humphrey, and Corey Lowery — built their sound around the heavy emotion of grunge and the melodic punch of alternative rock, pulling from influences like Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and even early Veruca Salt.

The 13-song set opened with “Pride” and “Needles,” setting a gritty, aggressive tone right out of the gate before moving into favorites like “Country Song,” “Rise Above This,” and “Fine Again.” Midway through, “Broken” brought a moment of calm and reflection before the band ramped things up again with “Wasteland” and “Dangerous,” two standouts from their latest album Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum, released August 28th. Seether’s ability to blend raw heaviness with melody was on full display, and by the time they closed with “Remedy,” the entire amphitheater was locked in, shouting every word back at them.

Seether and Daughtry’s co-headlining tour keeps rolling across the U.S. through mid-November, delivering a heavy dose of hard rock every night. You can check out the latest tracks fueling the tour on Seether’s Spotify and Daughtry’s Spotify.
