LIVE REVIEW: JUKEBOX THE GHOST AT THE ECHOPLEX IN LOS ANGELES, CA ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2021

Photos And Review By: Jenna Doolittle

Artist: Jukebox the Ghost

Date: September 17, 2021

Location: The Echoplex – Los Angeles, CA

Friday Night, Jukebox the Ghost took the stage at The Echoplex to play a stripped down set for their fans. Unfortunately, the band was down Jesse, the drummer because of Covid but that didn’t stop them from playing. They performed with a piano, acoustic guitar and really great harmonies. They had so much fun every up on stage that it was easy to forget this performance was stripped down. The banter between the two of them and all the stories they were ready to tell had the crowd laughing in between songs. While it was only Tommy and Ben that night they made a phone call to Jesse and had him sing a little something over the phone. Towards the end of the set they brought out the Ethan, the drummer from the opening band, Fleece who had spent that morning learning some of Jukebox’s songs. They played their last few songs full band and the entire crowd started chanting Ethan’s name in excitement. Overall, this show was so fun even with the setback, I can’t wait to see this band again!
