Sebastian Bach brought to The Variety Playhouse the 30th anniversary of SKID ROW‘s SLAVE TO THE GRIND tour on Tuesday night. Although the house was less than full the energy of the crowd was high. Sebastian played Skid Row’s the entire second album but peppered it with songs from their debut album throughout the show. The show opened with the high energy title track SLAVE TO THE GRIND and right into THE THREAT. Playing crowd favorites as BIG GUNS, 18 & LIFE, & I REMEBER YOU had the crowd going nuts. Sebastian’s voice is right on even after all these years and plays entirely live, no backing tracks which seems to be popular with bands these days. He proved it when they played QUICKSAND JESUS hitting all high notes perfectly. His band Brent Woods (Guitar), Rob De Luca (Bass), Jeremy Colson (Drums) are tight and bring as much energy to the show as Sebastian.
