A Day to Remember took over South Side Ballroom in Dallas on October 26th with their Re-Entry Tour, with opening acts Point North and Asking Alexandria.
The evening started out with Point North performing their most popular songs including “Hammer”, “Gasoline” and “Never Coming Home”. It was more than obvious that the three member band were more than excited to be playing in front of a live audience after almost two years of not being able to do so due to the pandemic.
Following Point North, Asking Alexandria opened up their 40 minute set with “Alone Again” and finished with “Alone in a Room”. Their set also included songs “Into the Fire”, “When The Lights Come On” “Moving On” The interaction between leadman Danny Worsnop and the audience was full of energy. While asking a concert goer what her favorite part was she said that the lighting went well with the songs being played at the time.
The third and final group to perform was A Day to Remember, opening with “Right Back At It Again” and ending it with “The Plot To Bomb The Panhandle” however, when fans asked for one more song frontman Jeremy McKinnon said they would play three more songs bringing the final count of 20 songs played for the night, the encore list included “If It Means A Lot To You” “Sometimes You’re The Hammer, Sometimes You’re The Nail” and concluded with “The Downfall Of Us All”.
During the whole event you could see and feel the energy between the fans and A Day To Remember. Both equally excited to start going back to what normal once was.
These three bands came together well and provided an energized evening of music in Dallas.
