Former Warped Tour mainstays A Skylit Drive are preparing to embark on a short run of U.S. tour dates in support of their 2008 breakout album Wires…And the Concept of Breathing, where the album will be played in its entirety.
“Fifteen years ago, the history of A Skylit Drive was set on a trajectory none could predict. Years have come and gone but what’s undeniable is the impact ‘Wires and the Concept of Breathing’ has had and still has on the legacy of A Skylit Drive. We are beyond excited to celebrate this album in its entirety, and how it’s never been performed before.” – A Skylit Drive
A Skylit Drive originated in Lodi, California, and released five studio albums before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016; the current line-up has been active since early 2022 following the release of a pair of singles and consists of vocalist Michael “Jag” Jagmin, guitarist Jonathan Kintz, guitarist/vocalist Louie Caycoya and drummer KC Marotta.
Joining the band on the road will be Texas-based rockers Scarlett O’Hara and Sunsleep, two acts that are cementing themselves as future scene mainstays; both acts have caught the attention of entities such as Sirius XM Octane in recent years, and hope to continue to grow as artists by partnering up with past scene veterans on the road.
While this upcoming run of shows is focused on the southwestern U.S., more shows are set to be announced later in the year. Tickets and VIP packages are available now on the band’s website.
