Live Review: Punk In Drublic presents NOFX Final tour w/ Pennywise, Subhumans, TSOL, Codefendants, Mean Jeans, & Bad Cop Bad Cop at Waterfront Park, Portland 6.29.24
It’s hard to believe after being a band for over 40 years that NOFX are finally calling it quits (Hopefully this is just a rue and they continue forever). This time they have a little help from their friends.

When I arrived at Waterfront Park I was emersed in what I could explain as the second coming of warped tour. There were food vendors with hot dog on a stick, over priced pizza, they even had a monster energy tent that was suppling Monster Beast, a newer alcoholic drink without the caffeine.

As you explore the venue there were tents setup throughout selling posters of past shows, a swap meet of sorts selling patches, vinyl records, & apparel. If you were lucky enough to get a VIP laminate you had access to a beer garden that let you sample over 20+ local breweries and you got a commemorative NOFX plastic shot glass.

This was an all ages event where you saw a lot of the younger youth out with their parents. The cool thing about punk is that it’s all inclusive. It’s a community of like minded people that stand for the same values and rights for others. At the end of the day it’s about the fans and music that empower the movement to make a change to the world.

Saturday’s lineup included Bad Cop Bad Cop, Mean Jeans, Codefendants, TSOL, Subhumans, Pennywise, & NOFX.
NOFX had a 37-song setlist to end their first night (a little surprise from Fletcher ending the show on a high note).
