Line Up: Hermanos Gutiérrez
Date: March 18th, 2023
Venue: The Kessler Theater, Dallas TX
All the way from Switzerland the Hermanos Gutiérrez made their way to the USA for their Spring Tour showcasing the album El Bueno y El Malo making a stop at the Kessler Theater in Dallas, TX.
The Kessler Theater was the perfect venue for the Hermanos Gutiérrez, it provided a low light and intimate setting with candle lit tables which allowed the crowd to really feel the passion the brothers share while playing the guitar and Latin Percussion. .
The duo got together six years ago to play guitar just for fun, and it was then that they decided to form the group, they only play guitars and Latin percussion. While telling the story of how they came about one of the Gutiérrez said that it “wasn’t our intention to make it to Dallas and play a live show” this prompted the crowd to cheer and laugh.
They played songs from Hijos del Sol that were inspired by a visit they made to Mexico and only took them two weeks to write. Some of the songs included “El Bueno y El Malo”, “Esperanza”, “La Verdad” and a melody of “Agua Roja” and “Western Bronco”.
