Hey Macklemore, you wanna go Thrift Shopping in D.C? Fresh on the LONG awaited BEN Tour Macklemore came to stun over 6000 screaming fans at The Anthem this past Tuesday night. Our evening was started with Macklemores DJ Beeba warming up fans with songs through the generations. To note, Beeba gets bonus points for playing “Abba”. When first reviewing the set list for the night with the house manager, we discussed the set being billed for 2 hours but only having 15 songs. We soon found out that Ben didn’t come to DC just to perform, he came to connect! Between each song, he spoke and joked with the crowed about his music, tour life, the city, and life overall. The high energy flowed through the arena with the first two songs “Chant” and fan favorite “Thrift Shop”. Fans weren’t only entertained with Bens connection skills but also with an array of Pyro, Dancers, squirt guns, and even a surprise at the end! Macklemore isn’t just on tour, but he is celebrating his new album “BEN”. The Ben tour is just starting, so you can be sure to find tickets for a city near you soon!
